I’m worn out since I just finished my school year this morning! But the editor gave me a deadline I have to meet so I’m pounding the keys. I’m going to dive right into figuring out the upcoming rides because that’s what’s important isn’t it? The White Lightning and Alan Hook’s ride both woke up to a gully washer. It rained Alan out, at least for a day, and lowered the numbers of the MB race. But cyclists aren’t easily deterred and both events were held for the diehards. The Matrimemorial Ride was also well attended on a very windy Saturday. Unfortunately, I couldn’t hang on due to having ridden a grand total of 100 miles this year. Thankfully, the Wallace’s were available to ride with me so I could get in 40 miles. Think everyone else had a big time drafting all those tandems! Wedding cake and punch was enjoyed by all. (Tasted a lot like Gatorade to me, Donna).
