The Cyclysm has come and gone for another year. Six American riders did well in the GC standings. The

This year’s tour was better than ever. So many

be part the sport of cycling! We’ll be looking forward
to a write up from Gina and Butch from their experience
traveling with the tour. I swear I saw Butch running along
side Lance with nothing but that banner wrapped around
him…did anyone else see that on OLN? I think it may have
been edited out on the replay.

Hot August blues are here…don’t forget to hydrate, and take plenty
of salt and electrolyte
tablets if you are riding for very long in this heat. It will help
to avoid the
dreaded leg cramps!

place to ride on both blacktop and MTB trail. Speaking of the MTB
trail…has anyone
from CRCC been up to the Canal Loop to maintain it lately? (No,
Steve Wilson doesn’t
count). Our club has the canal loop and if you are not sure, contact
Steve or myself
to see how you can help, we have the tools! If you are thinking
about riding the
N/S trail, it is in great shape. The LBL crews have been working on
trimming weeds
from the sides of the trail along the entire trail.
