Wow!!!!  It’s been a while since I have written an article.  The nasty winter just got to me this year.  With it too nasty outside to ride, I really didn’t even want to talk about it.  Now mother nature has blessed us with beautiful weather and the season is in full swing.

This past weekend was our first TN Mtn bike race of the year.  It is the first of the “local” races.  We had a big turn out from our area, around 25 of us in attendance.  This is the first time ever that we did not have the most competitors.  There is a new club in Nashville and they brought out 30 something racers.  Looks like the competition between us and them could pick up in the future.  You can check the results at www.goneriding.com

As you all know, we all take chances every time we participate in this past time of ours.  It doesn’t matter if you race or not, road or mtn, you take a chance EVERY time you get on your bike.  This has never been more evident until this past weekend.  One of our very own was involved in a nasty mtn bike wreck.  Please keep Richard Scelzi in your thoughts and prayers as he recuperates.
